In only a couple of weeks the year 2008 will be history. The past 12 months were full of highlights and emotions for a.b.art. One of them was our participating at the Baselworld in Basel, Switzerland, which was a.b.art’s first time at the world’s biggest and most important watch and jewellery show. The positive reception there is great motivation for us. We were not idling in 2008 in regards to the development of new watch models. The new series I, O, OC as well as the newly created black model of the mechanical series MM are additional beautiful, unostentatious timepieces designed by our a.b.art team. And then there are the very positive sales numbers 2008, which prove that non-mainstream watches are more and more in demand. We’re pleased that you, too, prefer authentic and basic art over glitter and glamour. In this spirit we wish you a pleasant and festive season and a smooth start to the new year.

	a.b.art bestsellers 2008 Looking at the list of the twenty most-sold a.b.art models it’s obvious that the bestsellers are the square and rectangular models. It seems that square-cut shapes are the trend and preferred by the consumers. Having said that it doesn’t mean that nobody wants round watches anymore. Especially the ladies’ series D or the men’s series MM are still in high demand. And as of this fall, the new models OC 101, O 106 and O 105 are rapidly climbing to the top of our bestellers list. 	Preview inhorgenta Munich 2009 The first industry gathering of the year traditionally takes place at the inhorgenta europe in Munich. This year about 30,000 industry insiders from around the world are expected to visit the exhibition. Watches, beside jewellery, will be of particular importance this year. Hall A1 (Watches) was segmented slightly differently this year; e.g. design labels are closer together. Therefore a.b.art will also be at a different location. You will find us in Hall A1, Booth 105, Aisle A, close to Entry West. We’re looking forward to seeing you in Munich.



	Baselworld 2009 The world’s biggest and most important watch and jewellery show, Baselworld 2009, will take place, as always, in Basel, Switzerland, from March 26 to April 2, 2009. Last year was the first time that a.b.art participated at the gathering of almost all important watch brands, which made us decide to expand our presence this year. We will have our own booth, in Hall 5.0 (booth D25), and will show you new developments such as an a.b.art automatic watch or a square-cut chronograph. Good reasons to mark the date in your calendar.



	Thank you very much An exciting and successful year is coming to an end. With plenty of courage and dedication we’ve been working on fulfilling our dream. Thanks to our clients, suppliers, staff and friends, a.b.art has further matured this year. We say Thank you! for the fantastic support and are looking forward to more wonderful adventures next year.
